Château Cadet-Bon, Grand Cru Classé, è una tenuta familiare di 7 ettari immersa nelle colline vicino al villaggio di Saint Emilion. Coltiviamo l'80% di Merlot e il 20% di Cabernet Franc in modo biologico, con un'età media di 40 anni, per produrre i nostri grandi vini, fedeli ai loro terroir.

Small winery but full bodied big flavours

Hugo showed us around Chateau Cadet Bon (his beloved family business). He was passionate about St Emilion region and spoke fluent English! We were shown the production room and the storage room. We tasted 4 wines and one special guest 2001 wine. We were blown away at the lovely Merlot/Cab Franc blends! Very good exposure to St Emilion and well priced!

Wonderful tour. Vincent was an amazing host. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and encouraged us to participate which increased the interaction and interest. The wine tasting afterwards was comparative and helped consolidate what we had learnt about the wines. I would strongly recommend this tour.

Visite en famille,ce n'est pas ma première visite/dégustation dans un château aussi je peux noter qu'il est dommage que "notre hote/guide"du jour soit un peu léger dans ses explications,un peu "détendu"et peu motivé peut être ou fatigué ?. Cela ne nous a pas empêché d'acheter votre vin? mais soyez vigilant à organiser un discours plus sérieux.

What a great time at Cadet Bon! Hugo is a fabulous host who and intelligently explains the importance of the local terroir as well as the history of the chateau. The tastings were great and gave a good glimpse into the variety of one vintage to another. Wholeheartedly recommend this small, family run winery right outside the village.
