Maison Brotte

Very well looked after, and the wine tasting was very well done. Be aware that you spend most of your time in a museum, which is interesting, but not quite what we expected

Really good tour and wonderful wine!

Nous avons visité la Maison Brotte pour une dégustation entre amis, et nous n'avons pas été déçus. L'activité était très agréable et l'endroit magnifique. Les explications étaient claires et l'accueil chaleureux. Bien que tous les vins ne soient pas à notre goût, l'expérience a été superbe !

The experience was exactly as billed, a tour of the museum followed by a tasting of 5 wines. I do wish that there had been more live narration of the tour of the museum, the audio guide did a fairly good job of explaining but it would have been better to have a person explaining the region and the wine making process instead. The wines we tasted (1 rose, 2 whites, 2 reds) were delicious, the sommelier did a great job of explaining what we should expect from each. Overall a great experience if you are looking for a shallow dive into how wine is made and want to taste some Châteauneuf-du-Pape varieties.

I enjoyed the visit to Maison Brotte. The audio guided exhibition is very good, and allows you to learn a bit more about the winery, wine making and history of the region. The section of wines for the tasting was good and the pairing is very interesting. The host was friendly, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable about wine and history. She provided background on the wines and on the chosen pairing for the tasting. The location is within walking distance of the centre of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and easy to reach.

Too commercial... No personalization.. No seating for wine tasting.. felt like they wanted to move people in and out.
