La tenuta

Château Gombaude Guillot è un vigneto familiare, di proprietà della stessa famiglia dalla fine del 19ᵉ secolo. Si tratta di una piccola tenuta di soli 4,5 ettari dove il rispetto per la natura e l'ambiente sono fondamentali. Le guide a pu nous présenter de la façon la plus exhaustive possible la propriété ainsi que les méthodes et processus de vinification. La partie "visite" de l'activité suscitant la curiosité, nous avions certains questionnements. À l'écoute de nos demandes, il prenait le temps de nous répondre et de nous partager sa passion.Nous avons également pu déguster d'excellents vins, si bons que nous ne sommes pas partis les mains vides !

The tour guide was kind and explained us very well the terroir, concept of their wine making approach, wine style and grape growing, etc. The wine also great and we brought few home!

They had very lovely wines and a very personal approach to tasting and winery tour. It is not a large winery in comparison, but the quality of wine is comparable to adjacent high-end wines. We ended up purchasing a case shipped to our house. Overall, the experience was very positive, and we appreciate the organic and biodiversified nature of their cultivating techniques.

We were warmly welcomed by Hugo, our guide, who familiarised us concisely and competently with the special features of this small vineyard in a prime location in Pomerol. The wine tasting included the second wine, a special cuvée and several vintages of the Grand Vin. The tasting revealed the capabilities of this estate, which has been somewhat overshadowed by its famous neighbours.

Nous étions au départ surpris, car le château ne donne au premier abord pas forcément envie de le visiter. Nous avons eu un peu de mal à le trouver. Finalement, la visite s'est très bien passée, nous avons été agréablement reçus par la guide et la dégustation des vins était très bien et très bien organisée. Nous avons passé un bon moment.
