Champagne A. Bergère

Passionate about the land and about Champagne, the Bergère family began their winegrowing adventure in 1949, when Albert Bergère began producing Champagne under his own brand, thus becoming the pioneer of Champagne A. Bergère.

The passing on of land and know-how is essential within the family, so it was only natural that André, the youngest ... of the three children, should take up the torch.

With the remarkable support of Brigitte Martin, who became his wife in 1986, André enabled the Maison Bergère to experience considerable growth, significantly extending the vineyard.

Brigitte began marketing the wines in 1988, and their children Annaëlle and Adrien joined the adventure. Adrien became the Maison's oenologist, while Annaëlle developed the Épernay site on the Avenue de Champagne, where five guest rooms were created.

The vineyards extend over the prestigious Côte des Blancs and Côte de Sézanne. Today, the family owns 60 hectares of vines in the Champagne region. see more
