About the winery

An 8-hectare family business, the winery has been established in Ampuis since 1860, and has managed to preserve its identity and its vineyards. Today, Julien Barge and his team work the estate's Cote Rôtie, Condrieu and Saint-Joseph vineyards every day, respecting the principles of organic viticulture.

Tout était parfait, une excellente dégustation ! Les personnes qui nous ont accueillis étaient très agréables et nous sommes repartis avec plusieurs bouteilles qui valaient vraiment le coup. Merci !

We were surely taking care of! We tried at Joseph Blanc, Condrieu, and some amazing Côte Rôtie. I was so impressed with the CDR that is right in the middle of Côte Rôtie and the tour was magical. Thank you so much :)

Littéralement au pied des vignes, nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux dans ce domaine familial. Les explications sur la culture particulière de la vigne en côte rôtie, la vinification et l'élevage étaient abondantes et intéressantes. Belle dégustation de vins blancs et rouges de ce vigneron dont les étiquettes ne manquent pas d'humour. Nous recommandons !
