Domaine de la Bouche du Roi

The Domaine de la Bouche du Roi has its origins in the 400 year old wine tradition of the Yvelines region, whose sommeliers and cupbearers already guaranteed the quality of the "La Bouche du Roi" wines, the wines served at Versailles. It is next to the village of Davron, on the Plaine de Versailles, which was once the hunting ground of ... the kings of France, that we are working today to revive this precious wine-making know-how, thanks to a team of passionate and committed wine makers.

The estate covers 19 parcels of land in a single block, located 144 metres above sea level, and holds a collection of ancient grape varieties, including 6 French varieties. The wine we produce is organic, and we obtain it thanks to the practice of agriculture without fertilizers or pesticides, respectful of the local fauna and flora, supported by both tradition and viticultural technological innovation.
