About the winery

Château du Taillan has been a family property since 1896 but today it is above all a modern story, told by women! Five sisters now hold the reins of the Château located at the gateway to Bordeaux and the Médoc.

Una visita muy bonita a las bodegas, con explicaciones muy interesantes sobre el proceso del vino y sobre la historia del Chateao. La guia de habla española, super amable. Los vinos muy buenos. Las bodegas, con caracter y personalidad. Y el hecho de que sea un negocio llevado por mujeres, se palpa todo el rato. Muy recomendable.

Really good tour. Joanna was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the wine making process. Excellent English speaking tour It was really worth seeing inside the chateau and the private wine cellar. The taste of wine can be unique to the person so enjoy the experience even if you don’t like some of the tasting. I liked some and bought bottles. Others I didn’t like but that’s part of the experience. Lovely friendly group.

Nous avons souvent visité des caves mais celle ci par son authenticité nous spécialement plu , ses voutes du 16e siècle encore existantes. De plus la visite de la cave avec une hôtesse enthousiaste agréable, et très claire dans ses explications. Un bon moment entre amis
