Château de Corcelles

Accueil professionnel : audioguide et paiement Dégustation non realisée car nous avons dû demander s il était possible de déguster et nous devions payer avant de déguster. Bref un accueil très différent de l accueil convivial d un vigneron. Déçu.

Nous avons vraiment très apprécié l'accueil, la beauté du lieu et la dégustation faite par une jeune personne des plus compétente, connaissant extrêmement bien le sujet et le domaine dont elle parle. Merci beaucoup pour ce magnifique moment passé au château.

There is just a beautiful historical building. Apart from this, we were not satisfied with the event in general. After a less than warm welcome, they gave us a digital guide. In this way, listening can be done from 6 points in the facility and information is given about the history of the building. After visiting these points, we move on to the tasting part. Here we had a wine tasting from a young lady whose English was not very good and who I thought did not have enough experience with wine. We couldn't get any information about the wines.

Le château et les environs sont très beau. Les vins sont très léger ( trop pour mes goûts mais on sent néanmoins une belle conception et un soin sur le travail des vins). Si les vin léger, rond et souples sont à votre goût ,le vin vous séduira.Seuls points négatif, la visite avec un audio guide soporifique, peu intéressant, sans explication aucune du travail du vigneron etc…. L’accueil également est très largement à revoir… Un couple de visiteurs étranger se sont vu expédiés en visite avec un grand mépris du fait de leur manques de connaissances de la langue française. Notre réception a aussi été très froide voir désagréable du fait de notre légère avance sur l’horaire. Nous comprenons les besoins d’organisation, mais lors d’un jour de semaine pluvieux avec 6 personnes en visite, le ton passif agressif est facultatif.

We had a lovely visit. The tour at the castle was very nice. We enjoyed it very much. The tasting was excellent with a very good explenation.

The castle and grounds are so beautiful and the audio tour is very informative. The wines are lovely and the staff were very nice.

This was a family day out in Beaujolais - Brother-in-law and his wife, his two children and their spouses. Chateau de Courcelles is well worth a visit and the tour and tasting, at €9 per person, is great value for money. Although the tour is by audio guide rather than a personal guide, the information provided was very interesting. I marked it down by one point because the commentary focused on the historic elements of the chateau and we would have liked to have heard more about when and how wine became such an important element in the life of the chateau. The actual tasting was superb - the range and quality offered was better then expected and the explanation, etc. (although entirely in French) was very detailed and thoroughly interesting.

Très beau château. Visite agréable surtout par bau temps. Dégustation très bien mais comme nous étions à moto n'avons pas pu tout gouter et surtout rien pu acheter. Un peu plus d'explications pour l'utilisation de l'audio guide ne serait pas superflu. Le commentaire va plus vite que nos pas et on est vite perdu dans les numéros. Néanmoins je recommande vivement cette visite incontournable du beaujolais et un peu d'histoire ne fait pas de mal.
