Interesting visit to a beautiful chateau

We booked a tour the day before going and found we were the only ones for the tour. Our lovely guide was so informative and knowledgeable- able to answer all our questions and showing us round this beautiful vineyard. The wine we tasted was delicious and I would thoroughly recommend the tour and to try the wine.
Highly recommend visiting!

We reserved the vineyard tour and tasting of Chateau Bouscaut quite spontaneously and it was a very good choice (our group of nine had the luck and the luxury of having a private tour)! Our guide, Avril, was amazing, made us feel comfortable and was able to answer the endless questions our group had about the wines, the business and the history of the chateau. After the tour, we had the pleasure to taste their Grand Crus Classés, red and white and Avril told interesting details about the wines while tasting. Highly recommend visiting, the environment itself is beautiful!

My friend and I, we were in Bordeaux for the day and decided to go to this vineyard because it was 30min away from downtown Bordeaux. Juliette our hostess was outstanding! Perfect English and really knowledgeable about the history of the castle as well as how the wine is being made on the property. This incredible tour was the highlight of our day. Not only that but the price for the tour was more than reasonable and when I asked Juliette the reason for such a great price, she mentioned that wine is made to be share -“ partage “ so everyone should be able to enjoy it. If you are visiting Bordeaux and you are looking for a unique experience, this is the place to go.

The highlight of our trip

This chateau was a visual hit to start, the grounds were absolutely gorgeous, we were blown away. But, to cut to the chase, the tour coupled with the wine and cheese pairing was fantastic. It was truly a great experience. Our guide was charming, super informative, visibly passionate about wine and entertained all of our amateur questions regarding the winemaking process along the way. We would love to come back some day.
